New eTenders Website Launched

12th November 2012 By Bid Management Services

The National Procurement Service today launched the new www.etenders.gov.ie web portal, announcing increased efficiency in the tendering process, as well as more opportunity for SMEs to win tenders in Ireland. Users of the previous eTenders website are required to register on the new portal and to populate the site with company information. Increasingly, tendering will be carried out entirely online using the portal. The new site also offers users the opportunity to be selected for ‘quick quotes’ by buyers for contracts. Green Public Procurement

The long awaited Government Action Plan on Green Public Procurement (GPP) has been published.

GPP will cover tenders in the following sectors: construction, energy, transport, food and catering, cleaning products and services, paper, uniforms and other textiles and ICT equipment.
